Rainbow Trust Children's Charity

There are 10,000 families in England who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness. Our two respite homes in Hexham, Northumberland, and Great Bookham, Surrey complement the work of our family support teams across England who spend time with families in their own homes to help maintain a sense of normality through very traumatic times. Rainbow’s care is totally free of charge; we receive no statutory funding and rely entirely on voluntary contributions. We currently help 1,000 families a year which is just 10% of those who need our support.
